What to Expect on Your First Visit
We know that coming into a new office can be a bit intimidating and we want to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Our staff is passionate about serving you and helping you achieve your health goals, and you’ll feel that the moment you walk in our doors. Here is a brief overview of what you can expect from your first visit to Dr. Katheryne at Vitality Family Chiropractic.
Complete Your Patient Forms
Before your first appointment begins, you will need to fill out our new patient forms. You can download them from this website, or fill them out in our office (Please arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment if you choose this option). This application helps us to know about your medical and health history before we start.
Office Tour
Next, we will put you at ease within our office by giving you a complete tour of our facility. During this tour we will give you direction on what to do upon arrival, such as how to check in, where the exam, adjustment and diagnostic imaging rooms are, as well as the restrooms and playroom. We will then answer any questions you may have about our facility.
Consultation
Assessment
Following your consult, one of our team members will perform a thorough physical evaluation, checking your spine, and nervous system. We use the most advanced and current technology available to get a detailed overview of your nervous system and overall health.
We will use a thermal scanner to measure the surface area of your skin which will give us an overall picture of your nervous system. From there we are able to detect nerve irritation in your spine. This directs us to which areas of your body need attention and care.
Diagnostic Imaging
Though not all patients require this, for most, the next step is imaging. After we’ve done an assessment, we’ll work to get to the root of what’s wrong through diagnostic and digital imaging services. This will allow us to get a detailed view of your spine and skeletal system, because to see is to know, to not see is to guess… and we won’t guess with your health.
Individualized Plan of Chiropractic Care
After your complete assessment, including your consultation, physical exam and any necessary imaging are complete, you will be scheduled for a follow-up visit, also known as a Report of Findings. When you return, we will discuss the findings with you, and Dr. Katheryne will present you with a customized and personalized plan of action for chiropractic care that will approach your specific needs.
